Corrections and Juvenile Justice

We are compiling and analyzing data regarding the adult corrections system in New Hampshire. As this project progresses, we anticipate releasing a number of reports that will highlight issues and propose new policies.

Reclaiming Futures - Reports

The Center is conducting an independent evaluation of New Hampshire’s juvenile drug courts and the state's “Reclaiming Futures” initiative, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, to improve outcomes for young offenders with alcohol or drug problems. The Center has published a series of reports presenting data on specific aspects of the juvenile justice system. In the fall of 2007, the Center published its final report on the evaluation.

Strafford County Drug Treatment Court - Reports

The Center is conducting an independent evaluation of Strafford County's drug treatment court prgram.  This program is designed to connect substance-abusing offenders with drug treatment in the community and strict court supervision. The Center will published a series of reports presenting data on specific aspects of the program. In early 2009, the Center will publish its final report on the evaluation.
