Dianne Mercier has served as People’s United Bank President for New Hampshire since 2009. Dianne’s banking career began in New Hampshire in 1985, and she has held various positions in both regional and commercial banking.
Dianne has been active in numerous civic and charitable activities in New Hampshire, including membership on the boards of New England Council, Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and RiverWoods at Exeter. She is the past Chair of the Elliot Health System board, and currently serves as Chair of Rivier University's board. In 2014, she received the Business Leader of the Year Award from New Hampshire Business Review. In 2016, she was named Manchester Citizen of the Year by the Daniel Webster Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Dianne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University. She lives in Manchester with her husband, John, and they have two grown children and two granddaughters.
